About Tailor's Touch

About Tailor's Touch

We work with garments that need a better fit, a fresh shape, or a second life. Every project begins with a careful review of the fabric, construction, and what the garment can realistically become.

Garments renewed with care

Tailor's Touch is a tailoring and clothing alterations workshop in Singapore focused on garment remodelling and upcycling. We help customers update worn pieces, reshape vintage finds, and rework sentimental clothing into something more wearable.

Our process is practical and transparent. We assess the garment first, discuss the concept, and confirm the scope before work begins so you know what is possible and what needs to be quoted separately.

Our story

How we approach every project

Our approach is centered on careful assessment, realistic design choices, and respectful reuse of existing clothing.

2023

Started with purpose

The workshop began with a simple idea: preserve what is worth keeping and redesign what no longer fits the way you live.

Assessment first

Guided by the garment

Each project is shaped by the garment itself. We review seams, fabric condition, and usable material before suggesting a redesign or alteration path.

Approval before work

Built around approval

From approval to collection, the work is handled in clear stages so the final result stays aligned with the agreed concept.

What we value

The principles behind our work

Our work combines careful fitting, realistic redesign planning, and a strong respect for the original garment.

ST

Clear assessment

We begin with a close look at the garment, then explain what can be altered, remade, or reused before giving a quote.

RC

Respect for materials

Our remodelling work aims to make the most of existing fabric and structure, especially when the original piece still has strong sections worth keeping.

AP

Approval at each stage

Concepts are reviewed and approved before additional work continues, so the project stays aligned with the agreed direction.

UP

Practical upcycling

We enjoy giving garments a longer life through thoughtful alterations, redesigns, and upcycled details that suit the piece and its materials.
