Turning Worn Garments into New Favorites
A redesign begins with a garment and material assessment, followed by a consultation to discuss shape, structure, and what can be achieved from the existing piece. If the fabric, seams, and condition allow it, we prepare a concept scope and quote before any work begins.
This process is especially useful for vintage clothing owners and customers with sentimental garments who want to keep meaningful pieces in use. Some projects may focus on fit updates, while others may rework dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, or reusable fabric into new accessories.
Remodelling with care, clarity, and respect for the original piece
At Tailor's Touch, garment remodelling and upcycling starts with what the fabric can realistically support. Every project is reviewed before a concept is approved.
Because every garment is different, the result depends on construction, seam allowances, wear, and available fabric. Supplementary materials are quoted separately, and additional work only continues after approval.
After remodelling, each piece is reviewed again for fit or finish before collection. Care and pressing notes are shared so the garment can be handled properly after the project is complete.
